Snowbowl is open for winter ski season, and in a quick two and a half hour drive door to door from Cave Creek, you could be making turns on the slopes of the San Francisco Peaks at over 10,000 feet. Snowmaking has complimented the natural stuff, and even in lean years, Arizonans of all ability levels can enjoy a day on the slopes, at a surprisingly reasonable rate.
